Community Involvement: T.J. has worked with students at various afterschool rec programs, visited with patients at children’s hospitals, and helped out on the ice with minor hockey teams. He organized an HP4K used hockey equipment drive in the Minnesota area last summer. All the gear was donated to a local youth hockey league to help kids from less fortunate families get into the sport.

You are there 100% because you want to be – it’s not just something the team sets up to promote the team. You are volunteering your time to have a positive impact on young people’s lives and be a good role model. And at the end of the day, you always get more out of it than you could ever give.”
