Community Involvement: Reid takes advantage of the number of kids he can reach through hockey every year. While in Toronto with the Marlies, he read to kids at local elementary schools and talked to them about the prevention of bullying. During his time in Wheeling, Reid participated in adopting a youth hockey team in the area where he went to practices regularly to help teach skills and mentor the players. Playing in Milwaukee got him involved with Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC), where he shaved his head in support of the cause.
