Hometown: Hamilton, Ontario

Kyle was both an inspiration for and a driving force behind the start of HP4K. He grew up playing minor hockey in his hometown, and was awarded a hockey scholarship to Princeton University, where he majored in Politics. Kyle’s dedication, leadership and hard work was instrumental in turning Princeton’s record around—from being a last place team during his freshman year, to an ECAC Championship Team his senior year.
Kyle started his pro career in 2008 with the Fresno Falcons, and after leading the ECHL in fighting majors through January, he was called up to play in the AHL for the Rochester Americans. This season he’s with the Las Vegas Wranglers.
Off the ice, Kyle has always been engaged in his community, whether it be refereeing, instructing at youth hockey camps or tutoring aspiring student-athletes. In Fresno, Kyle was involved with the Ronald McDonald House and the Cancer Kids Program. A visit to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital inspired him with new ideas and opportunities, which he’s set in motion in Las Vegas. Kyle is a tribute to the values HP4K stands for.
