Community Involvement: Volunteering has been an integral part of Johann’s life ever since high school, where he participated in the Y.E.S. (Youth Extending Service) Program, mentoring elementary school students into developing qualities that will help them succeed later in life. As a student-athlete at OSU, he made numerous visits to local schools, demonstrating the importance of education. Off the ice this season in Charleston, SC, Johann contributes to the Stingrays’ reading programs, and helps facilitate HP4K volunteer sessions at the Boys and Girls Club and the Children’s Hospital.
