Community Involvement: A hockey player since the age of eight, Jason has been involved in numerous community service activities throughout his seven year pro career. He has spoken on behalf of “Stay in School” programs and has been a representative of the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program. Jason has also organized family and child sponsorships around the holidays in Toledo, Greenville and Grand Rapids, providing gifts and food for less fortunate children and their families. He carried on the tradition by being involved with the inaugural Give Moore for the Holidays program this season in Cincinnati.

Jason has been a part of many other events throughout the course of his career, including: hospital visits, school lunch programs, youth practices, literacy initiatives, and even a 24-hour Skate-a-Thon to support youth hockey.
