HP4K’s mission is to harness the leadership, enthusiasm, and public goodwill of the most exceptional people playing professional hockey in communities throughout North America, and use it to positively impact the lives of local children. Further developing the athletes themselves as role models is vital to this goal, and HP4K will act as a forum to encourage and foster the personal growth and development of its members.

Members of the non-profit organization, HP4K, teamed up with the XL Hockey League on August 19, 2009 in a continuing effort to promote hockey to young hockey players. Various professional hockey players donated such pieces of equipment as: one-piece hockey sticks, helmets, shin pads, shoulder pads, gloves, new model skates and bags. The XL Hockey League, represented by Josh Leddy, President, was very grateful in receiving all of the equipment to give to XL Hockey players. “It’s just great to know that there are a lot of other hockey players out there who continue to give back to the game.”
