What started out with a kick-off visit to Littlebrook Elementary School in Princeton, New Jersey in mid-December culminated in tons of prizes awarded to the outstanding student readers and a giant floor hockey game!
“Based on how much each kid read, we gave out four levels of prizes: pencils, wristbands, signed pucks and the chance to play in the floor hockey game at the end of the program,” HP4K co-founder and team coach Ian McNally explained. “The entire Princeton men’s team came out to participate in the grand prize game, and everyone involved had a great time.”
A huge, HP4K thank you to everyone involved in the program. We look forward to spreading Stick to Reading to even more schools in the Princeton community next year!
